I think your fan is bolted to the water pump. Take the top of the fan shroud off and before you remove the belt take the 4 bolts holding the fan onto the water pump loose with a wrench. After that loosen them by hand while holding the fan because if u let it drop it may put a hole in your radiator. Before you remove the bolts all the way take off the belt and then remove the bolts all the way. It is a bit hard to get your hand in there and sometimes it will spin why you are trying to loosen the bolts. If that happenes use a screwdriver or small pry bar between the bolts to hold it from spining. After the fan is out of the way the water punp is a straight shot.
