This valve on a ford runs from your rear exhaust manifold via a large metal tube up to your rear head. It will look like a flying saucer about 2 1/2
inches in diameter. DON"T REPLACE it yet. Fords send out MANY egr codes that will send you to replace that valve when there is nothing wrong with it. Remove it and clean it if dirty(PLUGGED)
and have your local auto parts store VACUUM check it. Its probably good and you EGR vacuum switch needs replaced or the EGR sensing device.Larry
