Transmission problem
1994 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 220K miles
does not shift into reverse. when shifted into reverse van goes into low gear. put van on jack stands, took off linkage started van , shifted by hand into reverse and wheels turned forward (of course there was someone in van to press brake and depress brake) Van shifts through gears fine (even starting in low gear and shifting up with gear shift).
