i would like to drain my trans fluid where my drain plug and does it hold 10 quarts

The transmission does not have a drain plug. you have to remove the whole transmission pan to drain the fluid. While you've got it off, go ahead and change the filter.
the total capacity is somewhere around 10 qts, i believe, but you will only need to refill 4 qts after you drain the pan. the rest is in your radiator and torque converter.
