I have had this problem for about 50k miles but am just now able to address the problem. At 4th gear of lower when i am at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle the truck bucks and i lose all throttle. it feels as though the throttle cable brakes but after a few seconds and a little throttle it perks right up. it does this constantly except for hiway cruising. Engine runs like a champ. no miss just throttle cuts out. Computer throws code for tp sensor and o2 sensor lean. I was tech for five years but on lincolns. i replaced the tp sensor to no avail. i found some slack in throttle cable to cruise servo and adjusted accordingly. No help there either. When it cuts out the engine goes to idle but not rough or cutting out. When i first looked at the sensor before a changed it i accidentally left them unplugged for a day the exact problem was way worse which makes me believe it is something in the throttle body assembly. another question. can i monitor pids and check maf sensors baro pressure reading in hertz bases on elevation where i live like on a ford. Or do you think that this code i a product of tp code. I know that most codes do not tell you what to replace just a place to start but the tp sensor was cheap and worth a try. The truck also gets about 24 mile per gallon on highway. With the engine running so good i dont feel like a have enough symptoms to go on. Please help. I hope i have been thorough enough. Thanks
