There a flap under the fog lights that can be removed but I don't know if that would give me access to the fog light bulbs. Thank you for any advice.

Hi:

To gain access, partially remove the front edge of the front fender liner to gain access to the fog lamps. Take a look at picture 1 and let me know if it helps.

This picture is not familiar to me. There is a horizontal cover under the car with some nuts holding on. I was going to undo these nuts to see what's underneath. Just wondered I can access the fog lamp bulbs from under the car. The video shows removing the main head lights to access the fog lights. It's not clear to me. Thanks.

Hi,

I may know why the picture doesn't look right. You indicated it is a 2005 Sunbird, but they weren't made in 2005. I assumed that you meant Sunfire.

Let me know the model and year.

Thank you for replying. You are correct that the Pontiac 2005 is a Firebird. I do see a cover
in the wheel well that has several 10mm nuts. Would I get access to the fog lamp bulbs by removing this cover? I plan to replace the low beam bulbs with brighter bulbs so would it be simpler to access the fog light bulbs at that time. I understand how to remove the main headlights and I watched a video on working on the fog lamps after the headlights are removed. I just wondered if it could be done from under the car.
Thanks again. Perhaps the diagram is correct but I'm having trouble matching it to the
underside of the car.

Hi,

If you remove the inner fender or the splash pan under the fog light, you should be able to access them. Just to confirm, this is a Firebird and not a Sunbird or Sunfire, correct?

Yes it is a SunFire, not a Firebird or a Sunbird. I must be dyslexic. Thanks for the info. I'll check that area.
Good to know.
