Electrical problem

This is one great Car I ever had. I liked driving it because it gives a lot of mileage and power compared to higher models. The Problem is with the Fuse. Often the car fails to start. I changed the battery because I thought it was the problem. But even after that the car failed to start. My mechanic showed me how to change the starting fuse. Problem is every 2 days I have to change the fuse. What is causing this problem because my mechanic is virtually clue less. I lost a lot of my money in this. With the recession it is very tough to make money too.
