Engine Performance problem
1988 Fiat Uno 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual
hi, ok i got a problem with my fiat uno turbo mk1. ill start with the first as i think the two are linked. on starting it idles a bit high then it settles but if i touch the accelerater it revs up as it should and sometimes settle and sometimes stay high (talking 1.5 - 2k), the throttle is deffinetly not sticking. when it settles it is a bit lumpy. ok second and most annoying, on driving if i accelerate gentley it starts to boost, if i accelerate any harder it just kind of grumbles splutters and dosent pick up! i cant even build revs up high gentley, but if in neutral it revs high fine. drives me mad because it feels like it really wants to go. i bought the car like it thinking its an easy fix. ok things i have done: new plugs and ht leads, checked for boost and vacuum leaks (none found) thanx for any help!!!!!!
