2001 Fiat Scudo Will not start first time,

my van will not start first time around,it takes around 2-4 times for it to start,i am noy sure what it mite be,

think its the spark plugs or could it be a case of the starter motor?

check/replace the battery .. check starter motor and wiring .. replace the spark plug/wires/coil !
