hi there, my situation is that i only had a full service on my car four days ago and they told me i just need a new part on my exhaust and then my car would be totally fine so i got them to do that and it cost me £270 for the new part and the service, then today on my way to work i broke down i had to get my car towed to another garage and this other garage has told me my clutch has gone and needs replacing for £330 and also they have noticed my exhaust is not on properly and needs sorting, my argument is that if i had a full service four days previous shouldn’t they of relised my clutch was on it's way out and told me or have they just ticked the boxed that they checked it on the service sheet and not even bothered! Could i ask for a refund for the service because if they did not check my clutch properly what else have they not checked and i would rather have a service done somewhere else and get it done properly! please help i need some advise.
