iv got a mk2 1.2 16v punto and wen i change gear mainly from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd my revs shoot up by about 500 but it gets worse as the engine gets warmer.just before the revs come back down theres a noise which i can only describe as being a bit like a worn bearing.
iv tried changing the throttle body,electric pedal and the inlet manifold but still the same,iv tried taking my foot completly off the accelerator for a second or two before pressing the clutch but it still happens.
ive had it on a diagnostic machine and it come up with no faults.
