I took my car to nationwide autocentre for a full 68 point service.
I had oli filter replaced
I had a change of oil
I had my antifreeze replaced

After doing 56 miles since my service i had a oil warning light on dashboard and smell of burning oil, pulled over to inspect and found oil all over engine

Nationwide picked it up and have said that it looks like a seal has gone, is this their fault as no problems since having car( bought in feb 09 with 12000 on clock)??

I would hazard a guess at the oil filter was not sealed correctly .. or the seal on filter was kinked/missing .. I would need to know which seal they are saying is bad ? ..
