When first taking off from a stop in drive engine is very slow to accelerate

Just to clarify when you say it doesn't do it in first or second, that means you are dropping the shifter to 1 and 2 and it is not sluggish?

If so, I suspect we have a pressure bleed in the transmission but let's just clarify this first because if that is not correct the issue is probably very different. Thanks

Okay. You have a pressure leak inside the transmission most likely in the rear clutch.

Take a look at the application chart and you will see that when you are in manual 1 or 2 there are other clutches or bands applied that will redirect fluid most likely causing the leak to not effect the manual 1 or 2.

Try pressing the tow/haul button and put it in drive and tell me if it pulls away sluggish and that will clinch it. Thanks

Mine doesn't have the tow haul button just an overdrive button.

took it and got it put on a computer and it's showing codes 1762 and 1763. the mechanic said it's internal transmission damage. but when I Google the codes it says governor pressure sensor and solenoid that's inside the transmission pan.

You are correct.

P1762 - Gov Pressure sensor volts too low or high
P1763 - Gov Pressure sensor volts too high

I attached the testing for these codes that we need to run through. I would suggest starting with the P1762 code and see what you turn up. Clearly we need to check the fluid and make sure that is okay but after that, just run through this. There could be internal damage but I would start with these tests because clearly this sounds like a governor issue which is where I was going with my thinking earlier so this just confirms it.

I suspect both are relate and the 1762 testing is less involved then the other so if we solve that issue then that it may fix it all. Let me know what questions you have. Thanks
