2001 Santa Fe 2.7 auto 2wd with 300,000 miles. All original purchased @ 62,000 miles no major rebuilds just usual alt thermostat radiator ect. . Had power steering pump replaced last week. Now extremely high idle red lining & cannot even manually bring it down. Have to turn off ignition switch. Replaced to throttle positioning sensor and did not correct problem. Had to remove the MAF/MAP sensor to replace the TPS and inside was coated with carbon build up. Could this be the problem? Would say possible EGR valve but not trying to cut off due to Low Idle. Vacuum line leaking? Please need some direction. Thank You Jim E.

try cleaning the throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner first. it may be carbon holding egr open as well but try other first.
