My car is running rough and burning through gasoline fast. The mechanic changed the spark plugs and boots. He said the scan picked up a misfire on the fourth cylinder. He said I should replace the ignition coil. All of that was done, but I have the same issues. I took it back and now he says it is the exhaust valve that should be replaced on the fourth cylinder.
How long should it take to replace this exhaust valve? Also, given the age and mileage of my car, is it worth it?
