The problem is the exhaust system on the drivers side was replaced and the car is still loud only on that side. there is no check engine light or any smoke. i am not sure where to go from here. it is like I never changed it and I changed the manifold and gaskets also the catalytic converter and 02 sensor. could it be a hose or a breather hose or something?

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's Early Fuel Evaporation (EFE) system which diverts some exhaust gas when the vehicle is could to warm up the air:fuel mixture. If the diverter valve was to get rusted and stuck open, exhaust gasses would be escaping from the exhaust manifold and would make loud exhaust noises. In the diagrams down below I have included the EFE description and location. Please go through this guide and get back to use with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
