Exhaust smell from front wind shield defogger?

Hello,

The most likely issue could be a possible refrigerant leak in the A/C system. Refrigerant can smell like exhaust gas. Try turning your AC on when using the normal vents and see if the smell changes from A/C on to A/C off.

The other cause could be an exhaust leak.
