Where are you located and has the vehicle been setting any amount of time not being used? Asking because that could be a bad head gasket, but it's more likely condensation of moisture in the air and the ethanol in the fuel. Especially with the wonky wet weather lately. Does the smoke smell like steam or is it a sickly sweet smell? Steam with a hint of oil, condensation, sickly sweet with a sticky feel it could be coolant.
