Excessive amount of oil inside the intake?

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me out in the right direction, I did an oil change on my wife's fiat yesterday and I happened to notice a large amount of oil in the intake tube that runs into the turbo, I first noticed it on the air filter when I was replacing it. The car does also consume oil too. There are no warning lights or a check engine light on either. The only symptom I noticed is when I've driven the car it seems to lack power to a degree and it kind of jerks a little when getting up to speed, it also runs a little rough but not horribly. My first thought was a PCV valve, but I noticed there's an OAS (oil/air separator) on these models and I didn't know if that could possibly be an issue.
