Code p0455, Evap leak?

Have a evap leak, found out with a smoke test it was the charcoal canister. Does the whole gas tank need to be dropped to change this? Or can it be accessed with removing just the one panel under the car?

Yes, you do need to remove the fuel tank to replace the charcoal canister. Here are the instructions on how to do so. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
