Recently purchased 1996 Tracker that was run hot. Pulled head and sent to shop to be shaved and valves leak tested. Valves checked good. Engine turns over but will not start. Compression readings are:
Cylinder #1 - 180
Cylinder #2 - 120
Cylinder #3 - 90
Cylinder #4 - 180
Poured a small amount of transmission fluid down cylinders #2&3. After day of sitting with transmission fluid in them, cylinders 2&3 rose from 60lbs compression reading.
Assuming proper timing, should the engine start given the compression readings?
