I have the car listed above Concours. head gasket is allowing exhaust into coolant. Car is really a beauty and was looking to do an engine swap, versus a repair as its cheaper if not the same price. Was wondering if anyone could give a list of compatibles.

The 4.6 engine is your only option and there are plenty of them out there.

I would go to www.car-part.com. They will give you pages of options.

This would be quite a feat to change to a different engine. However, there should be plenty of 4.6L available because it was put in a lot of different vehicles. I would just find locate a 4.6L or have the head gasket repaired. It may be cheaper depending on where you had it priced, I would suggest having a few more estimates done just to make sure because I am not sure just a head gasket would be more expensive then replacing the entire engine. There are cases when this is true but not sure this is one of them.
