Let me explain about the vehicle. Wife got it off of grandfather after it had set for 3 years. Found out that it had an oil leak. Took it to Firestone mechanic and found out that the oil leak was coming from an oil sensor. Got that fixed.

Drove it for about 3 days. It developed a coolant leak. Found out that it came from A T junction that serviced the heating system. Fixed that. And it was still overheating.

Thought that it could be the thermostat. We replace the thermostat and while we had the throttle body off and the air ducts off we replaced the air filter. Still overheating.

We replaced the water pump. And still overheating. Realized that there might be air in the system. Purged the air out of the system. Now not overheating. However have a stutter when starting and at idle. It acts like it wants to die during idle. Also has low power when going up hill.

Any help would be great.
