Engine idles but does not rev up

I did overhaul on the three cylinder engine, by replacing back the motor, I start up the engine, but it only idle, and does not rev at all.
Can you please help me with troubleshooting on this problem?

Is the check engine light on? it sounds like the throttle body is not plugged in or it needs to be serviced. this guide can help:
