Two problems I cannot get into gear. Other problem at high speed over 50 mph makes a roaring knocking noise. Oil is okay and temperature.

It sounds like the clutch is going out can I ask how hard is it to put into the other gears? Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise, that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Here is a video that show the symptoms of the bad clutch
