Feels like my car is searching for power

Hi, when i am driving my car it feels like my car is searching for power, then all of a sudden the car gets power it feels if the car goes on and off. but when i stop car idles fine. sometime the car battles to pick up revs then again a day later she is fine. i don't know what is the problem. thanks if you can help.

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's fuel filter. Your fuel system has a filter in it to trap any debris that might be picked up by the fuel pump to keep it from clogging your fuel injectors. If this filter starts to plug, it will intermittently not let enough fuel go through to the injectors, causing a problem like this. In the diagrams down below I have included the location of your vehicle's fuel filter, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part number, and instructions for the removal and installation of the fuel filter. Please get back to us with what you are able to find out.
