Engine overheating idling rough?

My truck is overheating and idling rough with a strong smell of gas. i'm at a loss of what it could be, the reservoir is full of coolant and there are no apparent leaks other than the reservoir overflowing. help! thanks.

This sounds like it is a blown head gasket, but to be sure let's run down this guide to see what you come up with. If you pull the spark plugs out, you might be able to see one of them is cleaned off which will be the cylinder that the gasket is blown in. You can try some blue devil which seems to work pretty good.
