Engine noise and limp mode

Hey there, I bought this car in auction (listed above 1.4tdci) and it’s started making weird noises and it doesn’t pull. it’s in limp mode. you can’t rev it more than 3,200 rpm's.

Good morning,

The noise is something in the lower end of the engine.

The engine will need to be replaced. That is most likely the reason it is at the auction.
