The spark plugs should be good for at least 100,000 miles.Thee coil stems last a while there is no change interval for those. You could have a bad coil are there any codes in the computer of the car?

I need the exact code numbers not code descriptions so we can swap coils around to see if the misfire moves to another cylinder with the coil.

You would have to splice the new one in with some crimp and seal butt connectors.

So again was the connector loose on the number one cylinder? Also it's kinda hard to test the coil if it's a intermittent misfire. If it was a constant one we just see if the coil is sparking. So please tell me which cylinder the connector to the coil was loose on?Then we can make are next move.

So your sure you have no spark you checked for spark? Also you can't her the fuel pump turn on when the key is turned to the Run position? It really makes no sense unless you broke something or blew a fuse or something like that.

yes i check for spark there is no spark, the fuel pump is not coming on when turn the key to run, i check all the fuses under the hood thoses that i seen i didn't find any blown fues, is there another fuse box on this car and where it is locateded? i want to get this car back running. what could i have broke and what i need to check now what all the things that can cause the fuel pump not to work and no spark? do this car have a ignition module on it? what control the fuel pump and the firing system?

engine misses very badly in hot weather. tachometer bounces erratically. cool weather it runs good.last mechanic threw parts at it hoping to get lucky and fix issue but no success. new fuel pump, swapped out computer, new distributor, plugs and wires etc., no change in performance. i think IAC or dirty injectors or mass air flow sensor. what do you think?
