Occasionally when I change from third to fourth gear my engine light will pop up for a second then disappears. It's still runs normally and doesn't happen often what could it be?

Hello,

This sounds like the MAF sensor is not working correctly. To be sure lets run the codes to confirm. Here is a guide to help with the sensor location in the diagrams below:
