Engine light flashes when the engine warms up

The engine was rebuilt about 12,000 miles ago by a reputable shop that specializes in these. A midpipe was installed after the rebuild. The engine light flashes when the engine warms up but not when cold or idling.Under hard acceleration it stops flashing. At cruising speed it blinks. Cylinder two misfire is the code. The spark plugs are new. This is my son's car and he would like to get this solved before winter.

Hello,

Can I get the code number please? Is the firing order correct? I would check the firing order then replace the coil and wires for all spark plugs. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Sorry for the delay. When we changed the plugs we replaced them one at a time so there would be no mixup. We will check them again. Wouldn't there be a serious running problem with wires switched? This next step may take a while. We have snow coming down and no shop.

The car made it home. Checked the wires and they match the diagram.

It would run as bad as a piston engine with the wires mixed up. Please run the codes. here is a guide to help:

PO302 is the code. The engine runs smooth.

That is telling us the second rotor is having an issue. I would replace the coils wires and spark plugs on the second rotor. Please use OEM parts. Let me know.
