Engine timing chain is not timed?

The 2020 Ford F-150 with the 5.0L V8 engine is an interference engine so the timing chain procedure must be done correctly to avoid bending the valve. I would replace the guides and tensioners as well along with the camshaft actuators. These are all common replacement parts. Here is the correct way to replace the timing chains, guides and tensioners and camshaft actuators and the actuator chains as well. Check out the images (below). Man that sucks, I thought it was a non interference engine.. so bank 1 (passenger side) is not timed. Should I still follow these steps as normal?

And also if the passenger side isn't timed then how do I know that the crankshaft is in the correct position?

Most timing chain engines are interference engines. The best thing I can tell you is move the crankshaft by hand, the instructions show where the crankshaft should be while timing the engine. Remove all spark plugs so the engine turns easier. Do you see the timing mark at the front of the crankshaft?

Yes, I see the timing mark and the keyway on the crankshaft itself. I am familiar with them. Just wanted to confirm that while in the 730 o'clock position on the keyway it is good to start the re-timing process. I have to see if I have bent the valves already or if there is still hope for the engine.

If I am worried about bending a valve while spinning the crank by hand. Is there a safe way to do this?

Did you send me the pictures in the wrong order? It's telling me to remove the Driver side chain and then in the next picture it is telling me to install them back on. I think once I remove both timing chains I need to remove the phasers. Please confirm.

I uploaded the instructions as they were presented so I believe it is correct. It can be iffy turning the engine by hand and there is no guarantee the valves will not get damaged so I would go slow.

You've been a serious help with the whole process, that being said I am worried I bent the valves. Should know in the upcoming days. Taking off phasers today and going to reset them and see where that takes us..

Last question for now, once I take off the phasers and try to get the camshaft in the neutral position, what are some ways to rotate it without using the phaser, I know using wrenches is a good way, but was thinking if there was any other option?

You got it, using a wrench is the best way.

what is the neutral position for the camshafts?

I have done the camshaft reset, now when I am starting to put back the timing chains my crankshaft timing key is located at the 330 position, all pictures show it in the 730 position.
