Engine idle vibration

I get a engine vibration at idle, but it goes away with acceleration on gas petal. what is it?

Hi,

It could be a few issues. First, what RPM is the engine speed when you feel it? Also, does it happen only in drive or reverse, or do you also feel it at an idle? Is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running?

Often times, a rough idle can be the result of an engine vacuum leak. If there is no check engine light staying on and the RPM's are low, that is where I would start checking. Here is a link that explains how to check for a leak:

Next, it could also be related to a work or bad engine mounts which is transferring engine vibrations through the body of the vehicle. Take a look through these links:
