Engine fails to start

If you only have 1.8 volts on the yellow wire in pin 1 of the crank sensor then you are correct that this is the issue. This is the voltage supply for the sensor so I would recommend you go to the DME on pin 35 of connector X60231 and check for voltage there. If you have 1.8 volts as well then it is not a wiring issue but the DME.

I have included all the wiring info and pin out information so that you can find this wire. The connector you want is the brown 53 pin connector.

Hi, thanks for the reply, great help with the diagrams. I have checked pin 35, with only X60004 plug fitted and I still only get 1.8v. The ECU was repaired by ECU test in the UK. This is covered under warranty. They have request that I check all supply feeds for the ECU from the fuses to prove it not a cable or bad connection. Do you have a list of all the supply pins and fuses. Thanks, Andy

I understand what they are asking but this is like a computer company asking you to turn it off and turn it back on. Sometimes it works but most of the time it does not. The reason is, you have an issue on one specific circuit and if you have a power issue to the engine module, you have an issue on all the circuits related to that.

However, if they are paying then I understand why we need to do this. Attached at the power feeds for the DME which appear to only be one from a fuse and relay. Let us know what they say and we can go from there. Thanks
