Engine Dies When stopped and trans. is in 4 wheel drive

I could be something in tcae binding but try cleaning throttle palte on both sides with choke cleaner and iac hole see if that helps also check fluid level in tcase. It may be something simple. if not then have a local guy look at it.

when mine did that I found that a wire harness close to the trans. had broke the little plastic piece that hold it in place and allowed it to move and twist to where 2 wires were rubbed down to bare wire and were touching. Not saying that is the problem with yours but might be a place to start,
