Hello,

I've been having an issue with my Ford Mondeo Mk3 2.0l TDCI. When travelling, the engine has started to cut out when the clutch is depressed. Prior to this I've had issues with the car entering limp mode under heavy load and I believe the two are linked.

Historically, the following has been done to the car:

Intercooler Hose replaced (had split)
EGR Replaced (Blanking plate removed)
EGR Blanked (due to excessive smoke)
Fuel filter replaced
Injectors refurbished
Glow plugs replaced
Clutch and Flywheel replaced

I'm currently in the middle of a house move so I'm hoping the issue is not terminal/expensive. Could the issue be due to a faulty sensor? Any advice would be appreciated!

Kind Regards,

Samuel

we don't have this car in U.S. but scan for codes and check for wires near clutch linkage that may be shorting out when clutch is depressed. inside car as well as near clutch
