I just rebuilt the engine on the vehicle, listed above and I believe I have the timing and everything right, but when I try to start it the engine will turn for a few seconds does not start and binds up won't turn anymore. What am I doing wrong?

Good morning,

Remove the spark plugs and crank the motor and see if it spins free without binding up.

If it is good, then it could be timing.

It binds up, then it could be internal.

I took out all the spark plugs but when I got to #3 spark plug gas started pouring out. Why is that?

Okay, it sounds like the injector is stuck open and filling the cylinder with fuel.

The motor is a hydro lock as you cannot compress a liquid.

I would replace the injector.

I attached the procedure below for you. You will need to replace the entire unit for an injector. It is called a spider unit.
