Engine air intake, what is the name of the hose?

My vehicle's air intake box came off. There seems to be a hose that is supposed to be underneath it. What is the name of the hose?

If you upload a picture of the hose, I can tell for sure but it sounds like it is the fresh air inlet for the crankcase ventilation so that would be called a "breather hose". please check the images below to see what I am talking about. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
