So, i have the vehicle listed above it is a decent vehicle has 4WD and everything i was driving it about a week ago and every light you can imagine came on the oil, engine, ABS, traction control and traction control with a wrench came on and hasn't gone off. I just changed the oil a month ago, so i reset the oil light. But the other ones i don't know what to do. I took it to auto zone got the reader and it comes up with the code for the camshaft sensor and mass air flow sensor, but the air filter is less than 9 months old and i don't live near gravel. Is there anything i can do because it's a 2006 and there's really no point in dumping a ton of money into it if it's not a simple fix.

Hi,

When you say every lamp turned on, do you mean everyone, or the ones related to the traction control and ABS?

The ABS and Traction control lamps turning on (both at the same time) is usually the result of a faulty wheel speed sensor. However, that wouldn't have turned everything on.

So, AutoZone scans the basic powertrain codes. In this case, I recommend scanning the can-bus.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them. For example, the brake control module will be checked.

Here is a link that explains how it is done:

This is where I would recommend starting.

Let me know your thoughts and questions.

Take care,

Joe
