Engine shut off while driving will not start

i was driving about 45 miles per hour and all the sudden my speedometer is going down. i pushed the gas and the car had shut off and it will not start now.

Hello,

Have you checked to see what your engine oil level is? When you try to start your engine what does it do? Does it crank? Does it click? Does it click like a machine gun going off. Or does it do nothing at all? Please get back to us and we can go from there.
