Engine won't idle right and the won't accelerate?

The car won't idle right and the won't accelerate right the the code is misfire cylinder 1 I replaced plugs ,coils all 4 cylinders and injectors still remains still shows misfire on 1.a mechanic friend of mine He said its sounds like it needs to be flashed. I seen a video of yall doing a hard reboot on a vehicle take the negative side of battery and alligator clip positive to lost negative for 5 minutes for a factory reset do you think this would help me with a flash.
