This is a SLT 1500. I would like to give the codes I have had on this truck for a while now. P0332 (knock sensor back 2). I would like to know exactly what this does and how hard is it to replace?

The other four codes are emissions and I would like to know if all of these point to one thing. They are P0453, P0446, P0405 and P1441. I am lost when it comes to these codes.

Not sure if this matters to this but my fuel pump is about seven years old and it is in the gas tank. My gas hand is not accurate either. What do you think? What should I look?

Hello, I am Danny.

The Knock Sensor is a part of the emissions system. It basically is a sensor that is used to help optimize the engines ignition timing. To replace the knock sensor that requires the removal of the intake manifold. They are mounted underneath. The other codes are related to the Evaporative system and the PCM related to controlling the EVAP system. If you feel confident in performing the repairs we can include step-by-step instructions and diagrams. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

I would like to know if the EVAP codes have one common part responsible for this possibly. I would like some literature and though on that. No way I am going to mess with the intake manifold.

Hello again.

Here are step-by- step procedures on how to check what is wrong with your EVAP system for your codes. It would help if you have a good scanner that offers live streaming of data. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
