So I left my keys in over night and tried to jump it. it turned over and started I tried to press the gas pedal and there was no pressure going to the accelerator and after a few minutes it just quit running again. so I replaced the battery but it happened again. The air won’t work and the radio won’t turn on but the headlights will come on and the dash lights too. Now it just turns over begins to start then just shuts off every time. I checked all the fuses and the electrical connection on the gas pedal they were all good.

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS). Your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) uses the signal from this sensor to control the throttle plate and control idle speed and how much throttle is being commanded by you as you step on the gas pedal. In the diagrams down below I have included a description of your vehicle's Electronic Throttle Control System (ECTS) as well as how to test the APPS. The factory diagnostic troubleshooting guide for your vehicle's APPS will require you to use a multi-meter, so I have included a link below for you if you are unfamiliar with how to use one.

Please go through these guides, if necessary, and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
