so went through some rough roads snow and ruts. made it to garage, parked and shut off engine. The next morning go into go to work and turned key, nothing like battery was drained. Tried to jump and tested battery everything was fine. Headlights work, horn, flashers, and dome light and the dinging from key left in ignition or door open or lights on.
Turn the ignition switch no dash lights nothing.
Changed all fuses and relays checked grounds all seem fine.
Still nothing. any ideas?

For electrical faults, you need the basics like an ohm meter or minimally a test light. With either of these equipment, you can test for battery voltage (power supply) from the point of supply to the point of consumption.

For your case, check for power supply to the ignition switch. Turn on ignition switch and test the output for battery voltage, if none found, it is a bad ignition switch.
