OK so my Toyota Levin is a 4A-GE Silvertop , I have been having problems when the car is at idle, the engine light starts to blink and the car just feels like its about to turn off, after about 3-4 minutes it goes away if I keep my foot on the accelerator, if I dont press the accelerator down abit then the engine cuts out.
I also had to get a new Igniter Pack because the last one didn't provide spark to the main distributor lead, I put the new one in and drove down the road then the engine just cuts out, I checked for spark through the main distributor lead and no spark again, I do not know why it cuts out or how the car plays up on idle? Any suggestion will be much appreciated !

I would suggest starting with a check for trouble codes.

The link above shows how to go about. Let us know what you find.

I think the reason why the engine cut out on me that day was because the engine light bulb had broke from behind my speedometer, Don't know how that happened lol, The codes were
Code 32 Air flow meter circuit or Vacuum sensor signal fault
Code 23 Intake air temperature signal fault

I changed the whole air component sensor? Just the part where my pod filter connects to (or where the standard air filter box connects to)
then got the car running, I followed the steps again to diagnose for any problems and the engine light kept blinking continuously,
Does that mean that there are no more problems?
