EPS light on with codes C1515 and C1525

I have a problem with my power steering. It is very heavy and stiff especially at idle or going low speeds. I have the EPS light on and have gotten the car scanned with a scan tool. The car had two codes one being C1515 and the other one C1525. I have checked fuses, connections and everything seems to be okay. I don't know how to go about the problem. Any help?
