I had an engine swap. My ignition switch was funny to get the key in and out, so my mechanic switched my ignition after the engine swap. Now, my digital dash is semi frozen; the mph stay on 0, the mileage is stuck on the mileage at the time of the engine install, the fuel gauge is up and down rapidly and very inaccurate. Most recently, my wipers started going extremely slow and then stopped working and now my running lights do not work when my lights are on. I checked the fuses under the dash and all are fine. Never had any issues before the engine swap and I was told it might be the computer. Please help

check battery for condition including load test then check to see if a ground wire is disconnected either to body or engine as sometimes they are left off. see picture also check ground on left front fender apron forward of ECM module. finally if it still does it then have a mechanic scan for codes and he can verify if it s an ECM or not . the computer for engine does not effect your windshield wipers or any other body function only engine/transmission.
