It went into limp mode I am assuming because it would not let me accelerate?

I just bought the car so one day the battery light came on when I was at a high RPM entering the freeway I'll let off the throttle let it go back down and it went out a few days later driving came on battery light did but then so did my ABS brake or ABS light brake light my steering wheel lost my power steering on it while it was still running but it went into limp mode I'm assuming because it wouldn't let me accelerate I can put it in neutral and close for a little bit and it's a few seconds after I put it in neutral it's like a recess itself is like me sitting over there pushing the button to start it when it comes up on my screen and gauges and everything like supposed to but I'm not sure what it is can you give me any advice?
