I had the battery light come on and a check alternator warning come on. And the alternator was squealing. I went to the parts store to get a new one where my car shut off and wouldn't start. Installed new alternator. After jumping it, it ran fine for about 30 miles then the battery light returned, and not followed by the check alternator warning. But shortly after, numerous warning lights came on including ABS, parking brake, and front stabilization system. Then it shut off and wouldn't start. I'm thinking the battery went bad shortly after the alternator. But could it be something else instead or also?
