All accessories and lights turn off while driving

That's a tough one because they all operate on different circuits. When you say all accessories, are you referring to things such as the radio, power windows, brake lights, blower motor, wipers, and so on?

Does it seem that there is anything that prompts it to happen? What do you have to do to make them work again?

Let me know. I suspect it has to be something with a ground since everything is affected, but I need to confirm what you experience so I know where to start looking on schematics.
